NW PA - Pennsylvania's Glacial Pothole Wonderland Posts: 398 | Western PA is a pretty big and diverse place and depending upon where you are, the options available to you within the 1 to 1.5 hour travel time you're looking for can vary considerably. So, a general location from you would be helpful and would probably result in better advice. We don't need a street address, just a general neck of the woods. If you don't want to give this information on the open board, PM me. Unless you're in the greater Pittsburgh area, I can probably help. There really isn't any help for Pittsburgh people....:) j/k...

Hermitage,pa Posts: 14 | I live in northwest Pa. Neshannock creek has a delayed harvest section at Volant and there is a fly shop there. Cool spring creek at Mercer also has a delayed harvest section. I catch a lot of trout on both streams. Contact me in the spring and I'd be glad to show you some nice water.
