Arlington, VA/ Mercersburg, PA Posts: 653 | Bead head pheasant tail nymph with antron indicator really rocks--caught all the fish on one. everything else lost early on to rocks and moss. fished one big riffle across and back twice in the afternoon. river dropping nicely but it's still over knee deep. had the place to myself as well. the whole afternoon was out of a book... thanks to Gonzo's tips, landed four, three took early release, and 3 more gave it a shot but avoided commitment. (rats! photos didn't take. i'll try again at home.) | |
