That's the scene below M-22...why I stayed way upriver, safe and sane.
My oldest daughter and grandsons float the Lower Platte every summer, too much for me.

By Fall it's too cold to tube and the Steelies and Salmon can head upriver without negotiating traffic-jams.

BTW, I'm enjoying fresh windmill cookies and a tall, cold glass of milk at this moment. Goed!!

On Gates' hatch chart they actually have listed the "Aluminus flotilla" hatch starting at the beginning of June...Memorial Day being opening weekend for the canoe hatch...

pupa 16inch (green) tube hatch also, but could be bad photo, or me... Caddis kids, not light cahill wet.
Huh? I don't know, don't look good for fishing that day anyway....
