Upstate NY Posts: 160 | Ohh man...I guess it had to happen soon somewhere. In the Catskill's, things are not looking as promising, at least for a few more weeks. I took some stream temps Saturday and didn't find any water over 36*. The ground water table is max full, and with 14" of snow on the headwater stream banks and air temps in the 20's at night, I don't predict even the quill gordons will show for a while. How about some trout pics too Eric? :) CJ

Boiling Springs, PA Posts: 923 | The fishing was excellent. I didn't take too many pics of fish. I caught a bunch and they were all nice wild fish.

Novi, MI Posts: 2608 | If I weren't so fond of Eric and John I'd be jealous. :) Good stuff boys! I know I feel just a tad warmer and hopeful. Spence Both of them sent me pics and I don't have a photo account anywhere or I'd post them for John...Should work on getting one. These boys are blessed to call the Cumberland home...It always seems to be a few weeks ahead of my neck of the woods.

Oscoda, MI Posts: 2611 | Pretty fish Eric! Those browns seem particularly crisp when they come out of cold waters. Any sizeable ones? I just finished taking a walk on the trails along the lower Au Sable. LOTS of snow in some parts of the woods, not much to none in others. I don't expect to be seeing Hennies for a little while yet around here... Jonathon
