Sweden Posts: 95 | I have rod I use a lot on one of my small streams. I am on the train to it now btw. A friend of mine built it some five years ago. It's a Rainshadow 7', and I like best with a 3wt- line. It has a deep blueish color. Quite stiff in the butt section. Any suggestions on what model it could be and where I might find it?

Sweden Posts: 95 | Thanks Strmanglr, a blank is what I'm looking for. It's probably no longer available, I'll try one of their newer 6,6' instead.

Colorado Posts: 1776 | Yes, I agree. I made a Batson 7-1/2 XF 4wt a couple years ago. I wanted to make it a small stream stealth rod -all flat black - but my aesthetic side had to have its say and it ended up with golden-olive wraps. There are pics on here somewhere.
