Oscoda, MI Posts: 2611	PARENTAL WARNING!!! ADULT NUDITY, ADULT SITUATIONS So a friend or mine came up this weekend for a spontaneous visit, and wanted to do some fishing. He knows about [REDACTED] Pond as well, having discovered it himself a few years ago on a hike. I thought that would be a good place to go, maybe not too busy even though it's a 4th of July weekend and it's a pretty place even if there are other fisherman there. Zach also wants to learn fly fishing so I thought fishing off the dam of the pond would be a good spot because of the lack of backcast obstructions (trees). So we drive out there - and it is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but certainly not unknown - and as we are pulling in the entrace road we see another vehicle, a pickup truck with a boat attached to it on a trailer. Just about the time I'm thinking, you can't get a trailer in there, they've got a locked gate, Zach sees a guy standing in front of the boat. "Holy shit, this guy's naked!" So first I am greeted by the sight of another man's ass, and just about when I was thinking, why's he got his pants pulled down to take a piss?? - I notice his ass is MOVING. As we pull around we see another ASS - that of a woman! "Oh shit, they're F*CKING!" I exclaimed, I don't think I wanna see this - I am trying really, REALLY hard not to laugh as I am writing this - and throw it in reverse, and we went a pretty good distance backwards before she finally stood up and they popped apart! JESUS, people, you may THINK this is the middle of nowhere - until two guys with a trunk full of fishing gear show up!! We went elsewhere to give them time to finish and later went back to find them sitting kind of sheepishly in a couple of camp chairs by their fire...and Zach finally got his flyfishing lesson and I caught two little brookies of the dam on a #12 Female Adams... I felt like I had accidentally walked into a porno movie...in fact, I kinda wonder if they were filming themselves...GET A ROOM!!! This is a National Forest parking lot, for Christ's sake!!! Jonathon
	No matter how big the one you just caught is, there's always a bigger one out there somewhere...

Posts: 378	Hahaha thats some hilarious stuff. One time i was fishing with a buddy and we pulled up to a pretty remote spot. There was a car ahead of us and two people fooling around in it.. My buddy and me laughed so hard and we just couldn't stop. Good humor people doing their thing.

Novi, MI Posts: 2608	Jonathon, This has become the topic of discussion more and more on and around the Au Sable lately...Maybe elsewhere as well in our state. With my guiding buddies it used to be "cool" for the occassional "girls gone wild" bikini flash as they floated downstream with a client, but the mood has changed. Some of the conversations I've had over the last couple years actually sound rather angry. On the hatch chart at Gates' they actually list "Aluminus flotilla" starting June 1st...(This is why I usually make it a point to fish prior to this date). The folks in canoes & float tubes have caused some animosity...We know that not eveyone is off their rocker, folks who respect nature etc I have no problem with, but the flat out disrespect for others and the environment is hard to take. On the Mason Tract on the South Branch this parcel was to be sat aside and basically returned to its pre logging days state when George Mason passed in 1954. Unfortunately he sat aside some dough for a small "Fisherman's Chapel" which is a little A-Frame structure you can only reach from the river. This poor spot has become a stop-over for the crazies who basically use it as a restroom...Instead of reflection it smells of urine! One day a guide friend of mine told me the story about a time he floated around the corner above the chapel only to see some guy and his girlfriend going at it on the dock there. Another guy told me he was checking out the water at Guides Rest on the Mainstream with his two little sons...They were returning back to their vehicle down a path only to find some canoers stretched out on a picnic table...He had to turn his boys around or they would of had an eye full. I have floated by campsites that exist along the river well after dark only to hear loud music blaring and a wild party going on...Young, camping families, would be hard pressed to find any peace or quiet in the woods of northern Michigan. Floating after dark we have spotted guys who have beached their canoes and sat up camp, tent and all, not in a legal campsite, but as trespassers on private land along the river. You should of called the cops or a state park/DNR rep...Oh! That's right, sorry I forgot, we only have one in all of Crawford Co and he's out on Lake Margarethe giving tickets to speeding boaters. I guess we are on our own here...Maybe you should of filmed him or tagged him in the ass with a paintball gun...Unfortunately these guys really don't give a shit and he probably wouldn't of been nonplussed if you would of walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder and asked if you could cut in.

Oscoda, MI Posts: 2611	Well, Spence, Zach & I discussed what we SHOULD have done had we not been so freaked out by the whole experience. Perhaps we should have: Driven right up to them and asked, "Hey, is this the way to [REDACTED] Pond?" Cheered them on with some loud whoops and hollers - "Yeah, buddy, DO HER GOOD!!!" Pulled out our cameras (we both had them but not quite at the ready), snapped some pics, and told them, "In a half hour you'll be immortalized on the Internet FOREVER!!!" Then again, as a young woman I told this to at a 4th of July party last night remarked, "I think they WANTED to get caught!" Of course, as I also remarked to Zach, what if a family with kids in the car pulled up? And these idiots HAD a tent set up that they couldn't have been using?? Then again, we all know sexual activation in the brain overrides ALL other brain functions including THINKING... Oh well, at least we went back later and like I said Zach got his casting practice and I got a couple of little guys. Jonathon
