Chicago Posts: 3 | whoops! I was just going to chime in and mention that I've never found a reports website I really like... so I'm going to post here :) Fished SW WI this weekend... beautiful misty weekend in Coulee Country. Left home w/o stream thermometer... air temps in low-mid 80s. Water a little hazy due to Friday's rains, but cleared by mid-saturday for the most part. No surface activity to speak of... tons of hoppers streamside, but not many making their way *into* the water. Kept slow & low working buggers & nymphs from the tall grass. Had never been on the Big Green before... a nice change of pace. Not as many fish but some nice fat ones. Hope to see more reports soon!

Administrator Bellevue, WAPosts: 2737 | Thanks for the report! I've been seeing similar conditions here in upstate NY -- not a lot of bugs. It's typical for this time of year. I'm going to take off for the Catskills for a few days later this week and hopefully have something really interesting to write about, and some nice new pictures.
