Too nice a November day to pass up...
Nice bluegill from yesterday...average catch this fall
The bass, however, have been running small...
Not exactly Fat Basstard but I got my 5-weight bent pretty good!
This crappie pulled so hard I thought it was a bass!!
The Loch Ness Monster??? Nope, just a muskrat with it's tail up...
Accidentally snagged a carp! Thought it was a log until it moved! Left a scale stuck to my fly as a souvenier!
Tonight's sunset
Better 1 from Wednesday!
A very confused violet!!
Fall colors were EXCELLENT this year!
So were fall wildflowers!
My favorite fall wildflower, New England aster
More, complete with green solitary bee!!
Just chicory, but pretty!
I just call him THE MONSTER
My buddies up north would CRAP THEIR PANTS if they saw him! 11 points
Last but not least...HAPPY VETERANS DAY from the crazy 20-year-old "butterbar" with the M16A1!!.

Posts: 2611 | LOTS going on with me these days, boys & girls! Sold a house ($320 K, I will have $130 K after I pay all my debts)!, moving to Canton (lower Huron & Rouge, Ford & Belleville Lakes), for a new consulting job (full-time!). Yep, lots of things FINALLY falling into place after more than a year of NO WORK.
Including some fall fly fishing! Plus some wildflowers & wildlife...with frigid weather imminent (40s F tomorrow!) this may have been my last day, 3rd in a row of nice weather & low winds. A fabulous November so far...not gonna last. Enjoy the pics! + Happy Veterans Day!!

| No matter how big the one you just caught is, there's always a bigger one out there somewhere... |

Posts: 23 | Congrats on the new gig Jonathon, I hope it works out for you! I’m looking forward to more streamer fishing until the weather gets so bad I can’t wade and fish somewhat comfortably. And then it will be some quite time spent at the flytying table. Anyway take care and enjoy your new job and have a good holiday season.
Mike.
