 Posts: 23 | I went up north Tuesday to my favorite river, I haven’t been since the last week in May. I couldn’t sleep so I just got up about 1:30 am and hit the road by 2:30. I took my time and arrived just before day break. I was at the spot I wanted to be as the sun was making its way up and started swinging a olive soft hackle. I was pleasantly surprised to be catching quit a few smaller fish. Then the tricos made there appearance and I switched to trico spinner pattern, it was wonderful technical sort of fishing. I lost count of how many fish I caught, nothing big but I really like this fishing. It was so good to be back to my favorite river, And I try to enjoy every minute, and all of the wonderful things Mother Nature shares with me. Mike. | |
