This species is uncommonly collected except from wells. It is a hyporheic species living in the river gravels of river floodplains until it is ready to emerge.
The head shape is an important identifier.This stonefly was collected from the Flathead River-upper on April 15th, 2010 and added to Troutnut.com on June 26th, 2011.
