My dad held the canoe in place while I snapped a picture of this immature bald eagle perched in a pine over the river on an August evening.  It probably caught more fish than we did. From the Namekagon River in Wisconsin.

The NY DEC has installed these trout habitat improvements on a small upstate stream.  I found that most fish in the stream orient to them. From the West Branch of Owego Creek in New York.

Crossing part of Windy Creek. Most of Windy Creek flows under Valdez Road through culverts, but in a couple places it just washes over the road when it's high. It was a bit tricky riding the bikes through the flowing water over some rough cobble and trying not to get wet. From Windy Creek in Alaska.
