I've taken a few of my favorite pictures and made them into nice desktop backgrounds. It's really easy to set one of these as your background. Just click the link closest to your screen resolution below a picture to save it to your hard drive. Then (if you're using Windows XP) right-click on your desktop, select "Properties," go to the "Desktop" tab, hit the "Browse" button, select the image from wherever you just saved it, and click "Apply" and "Okay".

I spent more than an hour casting to several rising trout in this pool and caught only two. Its clear water and tricky currents harbor dozens of free-rising, usually very hard-to-catch fish.

This is the shore of a beautiful island in Lake Superior. To the left is a narrow channel leading to a a large, shallow bay.

I love this "above & below" landscape from a popular Catskill trout stream. The picture is not doctored to show both perspectives. Instead, my Pentax Optio WPi digital camera is able to take pictures with the tiny lens half-in, half-out of the water.

I wasn't actually fishing the river where I caught this one. I was just scouting, didn't like the look of the water, and as I was walking back to the car this little dun landed on my vest. Why can't they all be so easy to collect?

I caught several wild and colorful 8-9 inch brook trout in the clear little pool below this waterfall.
